Despite the otherwise good health of my 50 yo car, I often feel this way.

What a masterpiece!

I would be very surprised even for rusty car to brake half on scissors-shape lift as on the picture. But just a guess. No experience ... lucky me! :)

Well, it is an accurate diorama... 2600 Sprints have the same reputation as E9s.
One of the coupes I parted out long ago, when it was on the lift we had to keep the doors shut while stripping the chassis. The sag was pretty scary.

Would it be petty to complain about the fork lift?
Only if you didn't also complain about what seems to be a DSLR and the modern lift in the first pic.

I think these dioramas could be viewed as small-scale parables for E9 restorations:

"Incredible detail, so much effort, amazing looking - oh, wait, who put this relay in there? All wrong. You really had me going there though!"

Not trying to find fault with the dioramas or with the forum members and our obsessive attention to detail. It just very handily points out the difficulty of getting everything exactly right.

Painstaking and lovely work all around.

The forklift is one thing, plenty capable but would need wider track for that kind of work. I would worry about not having a driver for it though. LOL

I was actually referring to the YMM of the forklift relative to everything else in the scene. :)

Given everything else, this clark would be a bit more period correct. :D

Well full marks to those guys for even considering taking on that Alfa. I guess breaking in half was grounds for a rethink. Fabio on the floor smoking a sigaretta is the culprit.

Tune in tomorrow when a Bizzarrini catches fire.
