I am looking at another coupe, and just wondered if we could somehow reference the old list of owners with info about their coupes? There was a great deal of info there, and I often referenced it to see if I could personally meet other owners with my travels. Additionally, I think it would be nice to see if we could inventory the surviving coupes by Vin # on this site. JMT's

well, the CS registry http://www.bmwcsregistry.org/ does maintain after all, a registry...might I suggest (a spirit of) cooperation with Art and that gang, maybe continue what we got going here...and feeding the registry updated info, they ARE after all loosely affiliated with CCA and for having that database potential can be a good asset/resource.

Just a thought

I emailed with Art about said registry a few months back when this question was raised. The jist of his response was that the registry records are all on paper and he could use some help getting them into electronic form. I'm not in a position to volunteer right now, but maybe someone else can?

The hope was to have as many people possible upload at least one picture of their car in the Gallery and include the info you guys are posting. I agree that its not as "user friendly" when it comes to checking out where everyone lives and what they drive, but the old Gallery required a lot more work on my end to keep it current (creating a webpage for each person).

I still have the old gallery and have considered using it again. We'll see...
