Adding a bushing to raise the front of the seat...

how did you manage to do this as the front screw won´t fit if you raise the seat runner??
I find the seats OK, but not comfortable. The Scheel seats in the CSL are much nicer.
One one car I have later, Alpina seats which are incredibly comfortable and adjustable in several directions.

I removed the m6 bolt that goes upward into the seat base, added a 1/2" bushing/shim between upper rail and seat, replaced bolt with a slightly longer one. No interference anywhere.
Thanks, so there's not a problem with the seat bottom frame bending from the resulting gap?
Nope, it's very stiff and I only raised it maybe 1/2 inch.
Many CS owners have done this, but only with the early genuine Recaro manual seats. These generally were fitted into the early Euro 635's. There is a possibility I may go this route when my interior is redone sometime in the near future. Already have these Recaros in my possession.
