I recall you fan of seiko…
that omega has travel some lives, you can feel those emotions inside that capsule, should wear it in special moments, or when you sit in your favorite place to rest and meditate

I like vintage Seiko JDM divers with Kanji dates. The one on the left is a 1968 6105 Vietnam war era “Captain Willard” mechanical and second one in is a 1979 “Tuna” 300m deep diver. The others are early 80’s JDM quartzes.

Fun thread fellas (no offense if there are ladies reading this). Fellow Seiko guy here (a Pepsi Diver dude, 1990s?), wish I still had the black 'Diver' Dad gave me as a kid in the 70s.....ugh. I just got a Pepsi for my son's graduation next week, Sshhh....dont tell. Maintaining traditions....

The dream watch if we are counting those? A nice '60s Heuer Autavia, but....oh well. I'll have to be happy with my Heuer Monte Carlo and stopwatch navigator 'pod'..... maybe someday I'll sport a vintage Autavia, but for now, should have my coupe's VDO clock fixed first. ;)

Wasn’t there another thread on watches? I love there are a lot of Seiko fans here. Bought mine in high school mid 80’s

Found the BMW one on phone doing search and have no idea where I took that pic. I was like…huh?

My grandma’s watch holds a lot of sentimental value. I still remember her winding it up every night, same time every evening watching All in the Family and The Jefferson’s. Miss you Grandma!

Innuendo’s unintentional.

I'll take it, say...$10 per dial and I'll even kick in $5 for the map light! o_O

First on the Bens E9 - by the way, Ben is a lovely guy and has a few other toys.

When he bought the E9, he was meticulous about finding the most original he could, and that is what he now has, including the period ding protection. Look at that gorgeous interior, absolutely superb.

Now to watches and cars, very often us car guys and gals also like watches, but it's funny how as you get towards the largest players in either passion, they seem to 100% love both.

George Daniels - Richard Mille - Marcus Margulies - F.P Journe etc from the watch world, come to mind and at Pebble Beach or Villa d'Este, it's almost a prerequisite to have something "interesting" on your wrist.

Seikos since I was a child, they got me and my brother identical Seikos. The wristband of one broke while swimming and we looked under the water for hours with no luck. King Solomon could not resolve who would keep the other one...
The 67 Rolex Daytona for special occasions, like when I get my Fulvia Zagato Daytona tribute car finished :), which has a 1967 VIN!

Nice… yes, I’ve had my seiko for 35 years. It’s a little tired. Do they still have a rebuild service? Or has that gone the way of everything else?

I have a Patek Philippe as my dress watch. That one was an estate find by the wife (who is a jeweler). Amazingly enough we both only own two watches each.

What I figured… they all used to have those services for their better watches.

I know a guy but he does high end stuff. I could ask Tommy but then I’d have to wade through the pot smoke in his living room… think I’ll pass.

I bought one of mine from a watch forum highly regarded repair person that you could send it to if you want his name.
