Yesterday was my big day... the delivery of my 1975 CSi from Florida to its new home in Signal Hill, CA. It was a short 2 minute drive from being unloaded from the transport to my house. I only had 15 minutes to inspect the car before getting on with other things. I immediately noticed the empty windshield washer reservoir and upon poking my eye inside the container, I noticed it was cracked along the bottom. I went online to source a replacement and found very little and conflicting part numbers along with poor photos. So, where can I buy one?

I can confirm this works. Note you will want to order a cap too otherwise you’ll have white reservoir and yellow cap. If you haven’t yet, check out realoem.com it will show correct part numbers for your exact car spec along with later superseding part numbers

If you really want an older yellowed one I think I still have mine around, would have to check

Only OEM tank is good..

The others leak terribly.

If you do buy one of the aftermarket bottles, make sure you sand off the ridge on the nipple and glue the hose onto it to keep it from leaking

And FYI- the cap from Walloth splits in 1/2. It is junk.
Buy the one from BMW and prepared to be shocked with the price

Yeah, I already saw the BMW OEM price. Shocked is about right as I've had my share of crazy OEM parts costs over the years.

Agree on price in both cases - crazy that the original is essentially a glorified milk jug and costs over $150
I have the Uro one, no leaks so far, but agree nipple is a little difficult. So you gamble on cheaper or go buy once, cry once. At least if it fails it’s obvious and non-critical.

Much appreciated. I don't mind a new white one as I'm not picky in that way. I just want the right one without having to pay $450. Thanks! Stephen

"Buy once, cry once!" LOL! I first came across that saying back in 2008 when I bought my first special car... a 1991 NSX. From then till now, I've use this saying more than a few times.

Much appreciated, Leveque! I am a "form follows function" kinda guy... for the most part.

One last post. If anyone has a spare windshield washer reservoir in good shape who is willing to sell it to me before I buy one of the new knock-off ones, please contact me. My car is in the garage "operating room" getting this and numerous other things tended to. Thanks!

Hi Stephen, sent you a pm. I have to check if it's still available.
