Hi to everyone!
I would like to get some advice from you guys! Should I spend any money on my crashed 3.0 CSA?

How much do they want for it? Do the doors open like no accident took place?

I would say if its not rusty... yes.

I wonder why I can't see these pictures? Same thing happens with MMecury sometimes. I "click" on the links (can't see the thumbs) and I get a message about not having the rights to see them and to please log in! But I am logged in.

I'd really like to see the photos

whoo.
This one's a painful response... having been in a similar crash on my old coupe.

I would say no, unless the car is literally free, and very dry....and you have a ton of time on your hands.
Otherwise, you'll be spending your time, $$, and patience on a project that may not work out vs buying a straight car. If you intend to swap to manual trans or anything else major, then doubly no. All of the panels in the front are joined in uncommon ways, so proper reconstruction is a truly time intensive affair.

It stinks to see another coupe in this state, i just wish the bodies are easier to mend-

I used to have the same problem. There are two login methods. One is in the upper right hand corner. When I initially login from there I could not view the pictures either. When I click on the picture link, a bluish screen pops up about not having the rights blah blah....I then log in from that screen (although I'm already logged in) and the pictures come up. Hope that works for you.

Depends

if it's just a deductible: yes
If it's all out of pocket: depends on how much this car means to you and what condition it was in before the crash. I'd say you'll spend $15k if you spend a dime to fix. If the A-pillar or door-opening is bent up then I'd say no less than $20k. Still cheaper than a well sorted E9. If you took it to a restoration specialist, I'd add 50% onto these numbers.

Good luck.

Keep your vintage cars fully insured.

...Just the other side..same crash...

I had the same problem, but this was in 1990, when parts were "cheap" (1000 DM for a front mask) and all available. To give you an idea, all parts were changed up to the screen, except the left inner wing.
Now front mask is are to find, and used come up to 2000 euros or more. As someone said, you'll have to find a good bodyworker/welder (cheap ?? + a Celette) and ready to spend thousands.
It took me 5 years to restore it.
If I had the same crash today 22 years later, I would not do it again.....

sorry for quality of pic.

I bought the car in 2010 for 1600 EURO,so I dont think I go to spend thousands on it!
The crash happend last summer,I was heartbroken.
After that I was mad to buy a nother car so found one on mobile.de, the BMW was in Greece I did send the money (3700 EURO) for the car but it was a SCAM!!!
I lost my money!

I had insurance but the night before the crash I had a few drinks so I didn't call the police.

Erase this post about drinking so it won't be traced to you and if you never made a claim contact the insurance company now and say it just happened.
