Can somone directwme to any internet link or build thread to the E9 cs coupe convertable ive seen? Im sure its a black one with an electric roof.

There were - as far as I know- 3 german guys who made it :

-Christian Elvers (the best one)
-Jurgen Dreschsel
-Dieter Sigmund for the late firm SIMA-Power.

Im sure the builder used an E30/36 electric roof set up for the build

im getting itchy finger now im finishing off my ford escort xr3 and 911 turbo convertable resto's, and I keep looking at the cs just sitting there in all its glory and thinking....a shooting brake or a cabrio conversion.....

I had to google "shooting brake". That could be a very interesting conversion and could be designed to retain the hoffmeister kink and roundel.

The major job with doing the shooting brake, is to make sure it does its best NOT to resemble a volvo 1800 estate/station wagon.
