Is anyone interested in a CS Registry badge? About five years ago, after losing two ebay auctions for original badges(they went for over $100) I investigated making another run.

With the help of Art Wegweiser, a generous woman in the 356 Porsche club, and a Chinese manufacturer(who else) I had 75 prepaid badges produced.

I give almost all the credit to my 356 pal. She has been doing this for years for their events and knew the drill. A nightmare if you don't.

Near the end she offered a bag full of lapel pins, miniatures of the badge. Somebody donated 100 boxes previously used to ship VHS tapes. You remember them.

Badge, pin and postage came to about $40. each. I don't know how much now, but if enough of you come on board I will have a firm figure, I think the last time it was a minimum of 50.

I will ONLY communicate through my email: [email protected] I believe the minimum is 50, so if you are wavering think of the common good. And this will take time.

Be patient.

RSVP if you are interested. Steve ONeill

Stan,
Good point. I agree it was a big shield. That's the size of the originals but no reason to shrink them a bit.

Anyone feel free to jump in and suggest anything you want. I am not wedded to anything.

Hi Steve, is there a Photo on the site of one of these on an E9?

Thanks, Bob.

Bob,

I don't know of a specific photo on e9. Could someone send a photo or two of a mounted badge?

Replying to Stan's observation above about size, I meant to say, no reason NOT to shrink them a bit.

So far, I have 17 badges confirmed. 50 is the minimum order, but I am looking into another supplier in Colorado. Of course he will be more expen$ive, but if he is close and the buyers agree I would like to go with made in the USA.
Your thoughts?

Steve

I have too much stuff going on in the front of my car but I can't pass on the opportunity so count me in for one

CS Register Badge II

I now have 20 firm orders for a new run of the old CS Register Badge. The minimum order is fifty(50). So if you have been hesitating make a decision. A couple of people have said they would go for more than one, but they can't possibly take it to 50.
The new badges will be smaller, more true to the original blue, and possibly sourced locally, a possible Colorado supplier.

Perhaps that will bring in the buy American crowd.

You can check my first post. It's way down the list but take a look.

I am hoping the badges will come in under $50. including shipping. My cost but I won't lose money either. I did it about five years ago when the CS Register was alive and ordered 75 badges. They even came with lapel pins. If you are waiting for one to appear on ebay good luck. The last ones I saw five years ago went for well over a hundred.
