Is anyone interested in a CS Registry badge? About five years ago, after losing two ebay auctions for original badges(they went for over $100) I investigated making another run.
With the help of Art Wegweiser, a generous woman in the 356 Porsche club, and a Chinese manufacturer(who else) I had 75 prepaid badges produced.
I give almost all the credit to my 356 pal. She has been doing this for years for their events and knew the drill. A nightmare if you don't.
Near the end she offered a bag full of lapel pins, miniatures of the badge. Somebody donated 100 boxes previously used to ship VHS tapes. You remember them.
Badge, pin and postage came to about $40. each. I don't know how much now, but if enough of you come on board I will have a firm figure, I think the last time it was a minimum of 50.
I will ONLY communicate through my email: [email protected] I believe the minimum is 50, so if you are wavering think of the common good. And this will take time.
Be patient.
RSVP if you are interested. Steve ONeill
