CS Registry Badges

Investment potential?

Maybe we should all get more than we need as they seem to go up in price on eBay!
Another thought is if we (as E9-Driven) have any money in the till, we could buy 10 of them and list them under the E9 things for sale tab....

A thought

I'll take one as well. Just let me know how to send the money to you. I'm in Vancouver Canada so i understand it might be a few more bucks for shipping.

Oh boy. Steve you are in for a good ride. Determining the order size is a challenge. When I did the E9-Driven badges I was worried I would order too many but people came out of the woodwork to get them and the requests kept coming for a couple years and I had to order more. I'm pretty sure I still have a box of them somewhere; perhaps if I find them I should sell them on EBay for an outrageous price?!

Anyway, thanks for doing this and I will also sign up for a badge.

Sorry for the lag in reacting,

I would like to order one of those fantastic badges for my E9 in restoration.
Best regards and thanks for going through this process, i apreciate!

CAn't you post the E9-Driven badge at the E9 Driven site under the merchandise tab?

Unfortunately this would not be practical. This is not an official E9-Driven activity and we don't have any mechanisms for processing orders / payments today. The purpose of the merchandise tab is to support future fund raising activities to support site operations.

John, the production of the CS Register badges is moving forward. I am in the process of making a new mailing list since the current one is not up to date.

I am about to give final approval to the artwork. The manufacturer has send art that can't be enlarged hence I can't approve. As soon as that happens I hope to know when everything will be shipped to me and I can send the badges, lapel pins and key fobs out. I knew this would be a slow process but not this slow.

If you want to contact me use [email protected] the address I am using for the badges.

I am just curious why these badges are $40 a piece? The E-9 Driven badges that were for sale on this forum last year were only $25 a piece shipped and they were very significant in size, very detailed and much more complicated in design. I think you might want to have these produced by the same supplier. They should be no more than $15 as the much more complicated E-9 driven badges were only $25. I will also be interested in one if the pricing is figured out and we can get them for a reasonable amount.

The price of the E9-Driven badges was just slightly above my cost with shipping cost averaged in. The actual cost of the badges is highly dependent on the number produced, you are basically paying a hefty tooling fee. When I did the E9 badges I went ahead and ordered enough on risk to drive down the unit price so I could sell at $25. This turned an activity where I wound up upside down on because I still have a fair number of badges that I never sold. At this point I am planning to hang on to them and sell them slowly to help defray the ever increasing costs of keeping the registry alive. Maybe I can get $100 for them on ebay... :?

Nice looking CS Register Badge

Steve,

Thanks for taking this project on, appreciate the extras (pin & key fob) too!

Now I just have to mount these on the car....
