CSi Fuel Injectors

Anyone know if CSi fuel injectors that are leaking from the top even after the lower two rubber seals have been replaced can be rebuilt or repaired? Is there a less expensive replacement injector than the originals from W&N at $180 Euros each or $250 from the Stealer? Just trying to help a friend with a car that has been setting for quite some time. Thanks! RB

If might help if you were a little more specific with your leak description. If it is the blue plastic that is molded to the metal injector, there isn't much you can do.

Could it be that it's the rubber tube that fits the metal portion of the injector inlet pipe that is leaking? New injectors typically have the lower portion of the tube/hose connected by a crimped metal collar. Replacement rubber with hose clamps is available.

It is in the general area of the blue plastic but not sure exactly where the leaks are. All the hose and clamps have been replaced.

There is no repairing brittle 40 year old plastic.
I only install parts that I can trust in a car with my daughter inside.
Brand new is the answer.
Period.
