I took delivery of a 72 3.0CSI in January of this year.
I'm hoping their are some other owners in the New Orleans area who can advise me on where I can get my vehicle serviced.
I have zero mechanical knowledge and would welcome any suggestions.

its been a very long time since i lived in NOLA, but i am sure that @Stevehose will get back to you. he lived there for a long time but recently left for Florida.

All is well at the moment. I'm hoping to find someone for the normal stuff-oil changes, tire rotations, tune ups.
Not sure about frequency for these items and want to establish a relationship with a person or shop I can trust.
Of the coupe owners that you knew in NOLA, were they doing the work themselves?
P.S. Hope you made it thru Ian ok.
 
For that kind of stuff you could bring it to Duckworth on Metairie road (disclaimer: I have never used them but have had freinds do so). For more skilled mechanics (and $$) there's always Greff who work on old 911's etc. I did the coupe owners' work when I was there :) Keep me posted.
