CSI Restoration /Interior Color Options

I am restoring my 1972 CSI. Exterior will be Baikal. Need recommendations for interior seat & carpet colors. My door panels are nice but black. Does anyone know if an original Baikal came with black interior?

My brochures show the 2500/2800/2800CS in Baikal had the medium/caramel brown interiors. A friend with a US 73 3.0CS has the same color in leather.

My (originally) Baikal '73 CSI has grey (hellgrau) cloth that I believe original...

Just checked in my upholsterey book, 1969, it also shows Black and what looks like Black with grey velour inserts for 2800CS.

Just had a look in the January 1972 colour and upholstry brochure.

This is the only combination BMW proposes in combination with Baikal
