Anyone else have trouble getting the flicker link to work?

If it is not rusty, then sub in a correct carb motor and delete all the (incorrect) bat kit elements, and maybe you really have something. Early carb CSLs are rare as Hen's teeth in the USA. There was one in Monterey last summer (Ben Miller's Alpina version). Perfect color to stop traffic, too.

Had I known it has been essentially for sale all along, I would have given it a look before I got mine. I had assumed it sold back in 2011 for 60k and that was that. I was just in Austin for the GP a few weeks ago. Timing...

BTW, I bought a used s50 motor from Rhet and Terry several years back for a 318is engine swap, and the motor arrived as advertised. So, I had no problem dealing with them. On the other hand, the motor was about 900 bucks, so I was willing to take a chance.
