The front spolier of the car does not appear to be original. Here is an earlier picture of the car (the silver one) with a spoiler which has filled in air holes and holes which appear slighly larger than original:

As the car was superficially restored by a UK BMW restorer and the car received some media attention (maybe engineered to entice its intermediate buyer) I wonder if the spolier actually has better provenance than we think?

Our plan is to pare back the holes for now, understand what we have and in phase two try and find an original or use the origial CSL spoiler we have access to (see picture) to make a better replica.

Any thoughts as always very welcome.

Best,

David
