2285 car converted to LHD. Modified for rallys. Looks like a quick respray for the auction. Way overpriced to my thinking...

2285 339...,
If that is the correct VIN, I just looked it up in the registry and it is "coming to Milwaukee" as of last summer. Apparently it will be in my backyard???

Description in the registry entry:
(Facebook Marketplace. Aug/2019) 1973 BMW Csl Groupe 1 for sale in Milwaukee Bmw csl 1973 3.0l Rally ready or road ready groupe 1 3 WEBER carburator Excellent condition Will be available in Milwaukee in 30 days it’s comming from France Stainless Stee...

Seems as though asking prices in europe are often laughably high. Especially at the big shows like Essen and Retromobile. And cars tend to sit for years with dealers. I bought a 57 Alfa in Italy a few years back, after looking at a 1955 in UK, a 56 in Sweden, and another 56 in Belgium. All three are still for sale!
