CSL Rear Fog Light ....

can someone post a clear pic for me?).

This is what it looks like on LHD cars. The missing integrated fog light on ‘most’ RHD cars is surely due to (as Robert pointed out) it needing to be on the right rear side in countries driving on the right side for which BMW didn’t make the appropriate rear panel

The under bumper fog light is the owners discretion, unless it is required in the UK, and then must be on same side as driver.

No doubt that the city pack cars got underriders. As seen in the NOS sheetmetal above and on your CSL, one can see that the CSL panels themselves don’t have underrider mounting holes. The holes are actually a good way to determine if a CSL was a city package or if the rear panel was replaced.

Take this bring a trailer RNM taiga batmobile for instance - note the under-rider holes.

Another example would be this Martini CSL with rear underrider holes:

Rear fog lamps (or "fog taillamps") have since the 1970s been mandatory equipment on all cars sold in countries that adhere to European (ECE) vehicle safety Regulation 48, which governs the installation and hookup of lights and reflectors. ... If only one rear fog is fitted, it must be on the driver's side of the vehicle

Thanks everyone…. for all the feedback
The car when I got it ( full of rust) did not have a rear fog light hole in the rear panel… but the new BMW section in has! – it has only come to light when trial fitting all the trim and that the rear alli cover between the rear lights did not have a hole in it, so I had to weld up the hole…
But in the bits, I got with the car came a loose fog light…. also, I have overriders for the rear bumper…
So, looking at all the reply’s – it seams that the RHD have a fog light under the RHS bumper hanging off a bracket and has over riders – but some UK city packs cars have the over riders taken off over the years …… to look faster!

Hi Marc,
the new rear panel is for LHD cars with the integrated fog light for the left side. BMW (obviously) used the early LHD 2800Cs rear panel without the fog light cut out as the fog light must be on the driver side.
And yes, the fog light you've shown with the bracket looks right.
