Both are for your windows, one is either left/right or front/rear.Thx for the insight guys.
Another question from a "pre-face lift" owner: so one switch seems to shut off windows, what is the second switch for?

Mine has two fog light switches too. Maybe it's a city pack CSL and I didn't realize it! Actually neither of them does anything at this point so I think the second was just added for vestigial symmetry.Built Sep 72 on the certificate from BMW and those features weren’t introduced until Feb/Mar of 73. It has door card access plugs for sardine can motors so maybe the under panel is from a later car and circuit breakers aren’t connected but that doesn’t explain the switches. And why two green fog light switches?
Hi @Markos,Honestly, those (along with painted arches) can all be addressed by the buyer if desired, with a little headache. I take exception to the “one of the most beautiful csl’s in existence” crap from the video. The car is very pretty, but not in the same ballpark with the top 1973 polaris citypack CSL’s.

Agreed. They have probably been somewhat historically ignored by these guys as they routinely deal with $1m+++ level very rare cars/historic race cars. They’d (and all non E9 savvy folks) would be well advised to tap into the knowledge of this forum before they get whipped at the sales level, by when it’s almost too late. More so for high priced cars like the L’s.

429 LHD and 50 city package…..??? really ??
> why are many of the real facts still such a mystery to so many ??

carburator ,real’CSLs and the two series ,batmobiles’ simpy forgotten ?
Now that CSL’s are routinely commanding $250K+, maybe it’s time they take a closer look.
There were three Polaris CSL’s on site that day!
Possible, seems Italian owner replaced and added a few thingsMaybe door plugs replaced manual winders and later motors were added by the PO?
The wiring and sockets looks to be untouched . If they did replaced, they did a great job.Merdad, Later motors and switches with circuit breakers were Feb 1973 and later. Door has plugs for sardine motors.
