I am more a collector and enthusiast than an expert, but I believe these are the 5 main steering wheels that were used on CSL’s. It took some concerted effort to find nice examples of all these, but I think it was well worth it! A quick description of each, but as I said I am sure most of you all here have much more expertise of these. (From top left to right):

1) 375mm Momo Alpina black - the standard issue early carbed CSL steering wheel. This example has the stacked MoMo logo on back.
2) 375mm Momo Alpina silver - same wheel as the black version only this appears to have been made in an extremely limited number. I’ve only seen 3 of them including this one. Probably my favorite steering wheel ever and likely the most rare. This also has the stacked MoMo logo.
3) 380mm Petri leather wrapped with the longer 4-rib hub - standard issue for injected CSL. Just a gorgeous steering wheel.
4) 380mm Momo Alpina B2 B2S GR2 steering wheel. A massively deep 85mm dish likely to add strength to this Alpina race wheel used by BB himself as well as Niki Lauda and others. Another example of stunning handmade craftsmanship of the early Momo wheels and the earliest A38 prototype.
5) 380mm Italvolante ATI-3 Motorsport wheel. Shown here without the center bolster.
