Any ideas what a standard roof is worth, assuming reasonable condition?

Most of E9 restoration related shops should have an access to the body parts. Check with famous shops in UK. They should be able to organize one in some time as they have a plenty of contacts worldwide.

It will not be cheap in any case and the price can vary from 2000EUR min up in good shape (non-CSL!)

We sold a CS shell to someone who only wanted the roof with sunroof, $1850. Not CSL obviously.
