Just came across this post, and enjoyed the video. I’ve always been impressed by Legendary Motor Cars but Gary really did the CSL justice. Pretty good fund of knowledge for someone who specializes in blue chip muscle cars.
The guy presenting has such an infectious smile. I joined in.
No doubt he had a nice afternoon filming this.
Love it how the Golf yellow contrasts to the miserable wet winter conditions; there's even snow on the side of the road!
He's calling it "pre-production" and "prototype", but is that right? Weren't they just produced together with the standard cars, trying to build and sell 1000 pieces for homologation purposes?

this is an older video that i have seen a couple of times. it was linked in a post about 2212437 being for sale. the previous long term owner was Ted Mumm in Newport Beach, CA
I have seen the car in question up close. Lot's of cosmetic needs. My trip to Legendary Motorcars blew me away as I had a tour of the facilites and workshops. Saw so many Ford GT's in different states of restoration.
