What does dot color mean? How many types?
How many different dot colors on the ECUs were there? What do the different colors mean? I think that my 74' 3.0csi has a white dot, but it's been a long time since I looked.

Blue books say-
3-
1. Without paint dot
2. Blue dot
3. Red (orange) dot
These paint codes or lack thereof, were found on, and meant to match up the pressure sensor and control unit.
