I agree Chris, I've never seen it there. How about this placement on a Euro E3 (3.3Li). Anyone seen an E9 with the sticker there?

I'm thinking that the consensus was that the orange BMW Teile sticker was not used until '73 model year, in which case Steve's car would not have one at all. Corrections welcome.

I need to install the two metal plates - the Karmann in the A pillar and the BMW on the top of the wheel well. Mine are blank and need the Kg numbers. I am thinking of using Letraset. Does anyone know what the font type is?
Someone who does know this should seriously consider appearing on master mind.
