Looks a little rotten along the fender edge there though:

Someone put some effort into creating that blue dash & console. Left rear shock mount needs attention.

No comments yet on the rear end damage? It doesn't look too bad because the spare tire well looks original. I see a trashed rear bumper and bent tow hook. Also the original license plate trim was replaced with a fog light unit. The trunk gaps are off also.

There looks like there's a muffler leak as well at the entrance to the muffler.
The shifter seems to be very far forward. Something isn't quite right there.

Along the lines of rear damage, the gas tank is new, with new mounting hardware. My guess is the car was hit on the passenger side rear towards the driver side. Probably a minor accident but the gas tank could have been punctured, and it could have pushed into the muffler causing the leak. Why wouldn't they replace the bumper and straighten out tow hook though?

5 speed conversions often results in that shifter position.

Car is 43 years old. Expect mufflers to go bad.

I'm guessing rusty gas tank resulted in the new gas tank.

I see no rear collision damage other than the tweaked rear bumper

seems like a decent car for the money. i think it needs a really close look but could be promising

wonder why the 16k deal fell thru
