And yes, you´re right, they were original fitment to CSL's only, but who cares..........

In the UK they were a dealer fitted option, whatever the model!

Personally I think they look better on solid colours like Orangers car

People, thanks for your comments / suggestions.

Much as I like the stripes, I feel that on my car the combination of stripes, chrome waistline trim and the vinyl roof would be just too "busy."

Think I will go for chrome CSL wheel arches and the boot spoiler.

Orangener,

I have had a look at the spoiler you posted a picture of - nice. Is it a plastic / fiberglass part with rubber tip? Was that an original design?

I have seen a similar shape spoiler on Jaymic's website - http://www.jaymic.com/shop/parts_CS_products.asp?grp=CSBDK

Their spoiler looks like it is all plastic / fiberglass.

If I go for either of these, what size of flatr roundel badge would need to be fitted? Do you have a BMW part number for that?

Finally, ( I am asking lots here - I'm sorry ) When I order my spoiler ( the wife has been TOLD ! ) how much would it be for me to order from your friend the 3.0CSi decal to go on the new spoiler?

Hi Dave !

The spoiler mounted on my Orange is the original "small" CSL-spoiler.
It is made of fiberglass with a steelbody vulcanized into the rubber-lip.

The spoiler on Jaymic´s HP is the middle of the big Batmobile spoiler completely made of fiberglass.

The roundel on my spoiler? I dont know where i got it, i believe its e46 touring or so.........the aluminium-base underneath i made on my CNC-Milling machine........

The decal-price i have to ask for, but i think approximately 20-25 Euro including shipping to Scotland........
