I fear I made a mistake by installing the entire dash and gauge set before installing the defrost nozzle. Passenger side is in and happy, but the driver side does not have a clear path. Anyone know a trick or am I taking stuff apart?

i have taken them out and put them in with the dash and a/c in place. you have to be careful but it is doable. go in slow from the console side leading with the outer end and gently work it into place.
IT HELPS TO PULL THE DASH
its easier but is NOT required. pulling the dash is no fun ... and with the seat out you can lay on the floor and look up to wiggle it into position
Very unpleasant but I ended up removing the dash, I was never good at puzzles.

oh well ... the good news is you will get them in without breaking them ... just hope nothing on the dash breaks
It's back together with no casualty. Hopefully I don't have to do that again, nearly needed to grease up the a pillars.
