I bought a set of Dellorto triple side draft carbs in a kit specifically for the CS a couple of years ago. My engine is a stock crate engine with no mods except for swapping out the Zenith carbs to Webers.
I have always been intrigued with the triple side draft carbs and would like to try them out but I don't know if it is worth it on a stock engine.
Anyone have any experience with triple side drafts?
Any advice will be welcome.

If power is your goal then fit them, you'll definitely release some horses assuming they are jetted correctly of course. Good luck.

I have had good experiences with the DHLAs.

With the appropriate (small) chokes you can also set them up for max. torque.

Dellortos are quite good for road applications.
If setup properly they are very progressive.
No "hole" in the mid range.

Parts can still be ordered from www.dellorto.co.uk

Thanks for the advice. I need to check what size jets came with the carbs and make sure I have the correct size.
Any other advice and photos would be great.

I seem to recall reading somewhere on here that the triple setups will hit the stock brake booster. Just something to consider.
