Dieseling

Seafoam burns, water steams, similar to why the cylinder with the blown head gasket or crack is so clean. Efficacy of Seafoam is debatable.

Do you remember the company that sold a gas mileage improver. A friend of mine bought one. It was a bottle for water with a t fitting and hose to inject water to combustion chamber. Guaranteed to,improve mileage. I tried to explain to my friend that he could, take it off after a while. He didn't understand.
We used to use water on air cooled vw engines back in the day, we just dumped it slowly down the carb. Some people swore by diesel,or maybe atf.
Good times!

In 2015 BMW has introduced a version of their high performance M4 coupe, the M4 GTS, that combines water injection with intercooling. The car was featured in the 2015 MotoGPseason as the official safety car for the series and was released for the commercial market in 2016.[6] Bosch, which co-developed the technology, offers a water injection system named WaterBoost for other manufacturers. The company claims up to 5% increase in engine performance, up to 4% decrease in CO2 emissions and up to 13% improvement in fuel economy.[7]

Hello to all, did the water thing, the dieseling is better not completely gone though.
It does not matter how slow the water drops goes into the combustion chamber, water finds its way into the engine!
Issues,
1- This procedure should be done when one is ready for oil change and plug replacement, not with new plugs and fresh synth. oil like mine.
2- The water will get into the engine compartment make your oil watery.
3- The plugs will not function as good, engine has to turn a few times before the car starts.
