diferencial update opinion

I have diferencial which says 71 on it. (İn the picture)
These came with the car and I am not %100 sure that they belong to this car anyways...
NOW I may have to rebuild this difrencial or I can buy another one instead.
My question...
Should I update the difrencial ?

Note: I have done some search and found out that geteag 5peed transmission changes involve speedo update etc. so I dont want to go that far.

This is mine. There is some difference in nunbers but does it look original good to go. Note: car had automatic gearbox on it but originaly it is manual. Dont know if it makes any difference.

It's proper 3.45 diff for 3.0cs
As sfdon mentioned - date is not important, 71' diff could normally be on 72' or even 73' car

Here in the US the 2800CS got the 3.45 but the 3.0CS had the 3.64 due to the smog regulations and lower compression ratio.

Understood of course, we forget here that not all coupes were the same.
