Looking for some clarity regards limited slip differentials. The Euro 730 I recently acquired has what seems to be one of these closed diffs. It is the Type 210 differential. This is the large case one. Can someone tell me what other BMW this may fit? I don't expect it fits an E9, but perhaps with a swap of cover or something else, it can be made to fit. Won't be using it in my car, and will be offering it for sale once I find who may need this. Thanks for any info. Mike

I might be interested, if it fits my e28. Please provide the VIN. Thanks.

A dif with a 210mm ring gear won't swap into an e9. The mounting is entirely different and the cover swap method used on a bunch of the later model BMWs doesn't work on the sidewinders in the e9. You would need to swap the rear subframe. Then there is the fact that the output shaft diameters are 36 mm v. 30 mm, so half shafts need to change. I wouldn't spend time going down this path; your market for that dif is not in the e9 world.
