I came across this article the other day and thought Id give it a shot:

Here is my rig. A few feet of 1/2" hose, a compressor duster, a box of baking soda:

Here is an old carb I had that probably hadn't been cleaned since it left the factory in Italy 40 years ago:

Here it is again with a small portion I cleaned with the above contraption.

This took just a few seconds. I had to turn it off because it was giving the whole street a white Christmas. Once I can figure out how to build a blasting cabinet I think I'll use this on my carbs and intake manifold.

Very cool. You're gonna need a bigger box of baking soda. What psi were you running on the compressor?

Yep. The article said to try Chinese Food Stores, but I didn't have any luck finding a jug of it there. It's a 26 gallon compressor running at 100 PSI.
