Do I need to worry about unleaded gas?

I have a 71 2800cs. Do I need to worry about unleaded gas? Do I need an additive or something?

No, bmw uses hardened valves. I would however use a zddp (zinc) rich motor oil such as motul 20/50 or an additive when changing your oil.

Valvoline VR1 is also good with higher levels of zinc and easy to get...
