Great image from this article:

But both blokes look a bit massive in their respective cars.....just my opinion and to me the coupe looks larger than it is which is cool especially since you have a great deal of interior space --

I’m not a professional photographer, but this looks like distortion caused by an overhead shot with a very large zoom setting. Opposite of wide angle, a large zoom compresses apparent distance between near and far objects distorting relative size. Note how the fronts look much shorter than the windshields and how short in length both cars look. The drivers look like they could hit there foreheads on the windshields.

Great to have others chime in...understandably this is a sensitive subject for some -- could you imagine ('our heads/bodies look too big')...at a Porsche or Ferrari club meet ;)

Looks like distortion is the correct way to answer it --

The guy in the CSL is a big dude. He can’t be that big though because those are scheels. I’m 6’ 220lbs and can squeeze into my scheels. I know it has been done but I can’t imagine that they are very functional for anyone of any significant size. That’s for both muscular builds and ‘murican proportions like me. :)
