Putting my car back together and trying to work out the order in which all the trim goes back and any rubber seals. If anyone has any pictures to assist it would be appreciated.

Also where is the best place to get the rubbers. I am just going through Walloths pages but wondering if there was anyone else I can get them from.

I think you need to supply some images or RealOEM reference pics so we know exactly what you are dealing with. I have done just about everything trim-related but unsure of what you are referring to.

I am trying to work out the order in which all the chrome trim and rubbers go back around the door openings and also what pieces go where. I didnt strip this area of the car so havent got any pictures of my own.

Pictures of the parts you want to put back on. Pictures of the door to show what needs to be put back on. For example, which parts?

I have seen this on the W&N site. I am trying to work out how the trim fits back onto the door opening not the door itself. no.s 7 and 8 on this diagram are the chrome piece and the rubber but are there other chrome pieces to fit on the door opening?

7 is not rubber, it is a polished alum piece held in place by M3 screws that screw into the body below the drip rail. You should see the holes. Once in place, the part of the door gasket (rubber) goes over that. Door gasket is either one or two pieces depending on where you sourced it. 7 has a little slit in it, it should be intuitive how the part of the door gasket fits into this. 8=the alum drip rail itself, there is a recent post on how it fits on. Make sure 7 is contoured to fit perfectly flush, otherwise you will have a problem with the drip rail fitting.

This is how mine was before I stripped it .
It might give you some idea on how it should look put back together. ( maybe)

Rubber bits always suffer with age but, as far as I'm aware, parts 8, 9, 11, 13 are NLA so I'm interested to hear what others have done about that (other than get lucky and purchase OEM parts years ago)...

8, the rubber around the door opening on the car itself, which the OP was asking about. Original is complex, with a specialized molded part at the a pillar, and a seal that pushed over the pinch weld around the opening, with a nice molded end where it meets the quarter window opening. In a pinch (pun intended), the latter part can be replaced by a generic push-on seal such as Steele Rubber's 70-3583-99. It won't have the molded ends but will largely seal. Combine with the original a pillar molded piece if you have one.

9, which is molded rubber that fits against the vent window frame is super rare. The original had some fold-over tabs that hold it to the sill chrome. Not sure a solution for that one. Would love to hear of one though.

11, the window fuzzy strip is often perished. The original is very specific, with a U shape that fits around the top sill chrome from underneath. I've heard (from @sfdon) that one can use universal fuzzies from Steele Rubber or similar and some special S clips from a 2002 to both hold the fuzzy and secure the chrome to the pinch weld on the door but I've yet to find universal fuzzies as thick as original (or as I'd desire) and successfully do this.

13, the rubber on the outer vertical door edge is usually destroyed. Not sure it is super important, as the opening seal keeps water out of the cabin. This one seems to be more for softening the close action or? Again, I'm not aware of an alternative. Would love to hear of one though.

Somewhat related to 13, one of my cars has stampings and holes on the outer edge where that rubber goes. The holes look like they're for lights or reflectors or rubber bumpers. Same on both sides. Is this a 74 thing? My 73 doesn't have these. What goes there?

I do appreciate the replies. I got most of it worked out but realised I need the headliner in first so that's going in in a couple of weeks.

who sells the best fitting rubbers?

Since we're on the subject, can anyone confirm what exactly this (pictured) gasket is? (Door seal?)

I originally thought it was the trunk seal, but since its only 12' (and not 17), I'm guessing I'll be purchasing a trunk seal real soon.

Thanks in advance.
