Rubber bits always suffer with age but, as far as I'm aware, parts 8, 9, 11, 13 are NLA so I'm interested to hear what others have done about that (other than get lucky and purchase OEM parts years ago)...
8, the rubber around the door opening on the car itself, which the OP was asking about. Original is complex, with a specialized molded part at the a pillar, and a seal that pushed over the pinch weld around the opening, with a nice molded end where it meets the quarter window opening. In a pinch (pun intended), the latter part can be replaced by a generic push-on seal such as Steele Rubber's 70-3583-99. It won't have the molded ends but will largely seal. Combine with the original a pillar molded piece if you have one.
9, which is molded rubber that fits against the vent window frame is super rare. The original had some fold-over tabs that hold it to the sill chrome. Not sure a solution for that one. Would love to hear of one though.
11, the window fuzzy strip is often perished. The original is very specific, with a U shape that fits around the top sill chrome from underneath. I've heard (from
@sfdon) that one can use universal fuzzies from Steele Rubber or similar and some special S clips from a 2002 to both hold the fuzzy and secure the chrome to the pinch weld on the door but I've yet to find universal fuzzies as thick as original (or as I'd desire) and successfully do this.
13, the rubber on the outer vertical door edge is usually destroyed. Not sure it is super important, as the opening seal keeps water out of the cabin. This one seems to be more for softening the close action or? Again, I'm not aware of an alternative. Would love to hear of one though.
Somewhat related to 13, one of my cars has stampings and holes on the outer edge where that rubber goes. The holes look like they're for lights or reflectors or rubber bumpers. Same on both sides. Is this a 74 thing? My 73 doesn't have these. What goes there?
