Gents, prior to dismantling the top door trim pieces ( above the wooden inserts ) it seems that copper ( or brass ??) rivets have been used . Each rivet appears to be "flush " on both sides . Can someone please enlighten as to the process for replacing these . Thanks, Simon
Thanks Charlie, yes, removal should be straightforward ( hopefully ) but I guess I need to know size/type of rivet and if "special " rivet gun required .
i just did mine
just drill them out
and reattach w/ short sheet metal screws
they are copper
use a small drill and they will spin out
i used bevel head to sit as flush as possible
