door weatherstrip

so i ordered new door weatherstrip
but it only goes to the top of door
what goes from there along the vent and along the top of front
window see it here
is it two pieces or one
where would i get the top part
also is the inside a metal part
i dont remember seeing it

Alan,

in a new door weatherstrip package there should be 3 pieces. the U shaped piece that fits on the sill and up the A pillar ... the piece that goes on the underside of the roof / A pillar (from the front of the rear window down the front of the door) where it joins the lower piece with a funny shaped piece that is about 5" +/- long.

i have a brand new one (just the top) for the passenger side that i would be willing to sell for a reasonable amount.

I just installed 8 and 13 but I am missing part 1 in the diagram (BMW part 51216740185)

Two dealers tell me it is NLA.

Are there any sources or replacement alternatives?

BTW the door is now hard to close but it closes with a perfectly solid clunk!

this part is not showing up at Walloths . I believe it is NLA but there are some pics of this part on ECS Tuning website which show the profile and may assist in finding alternative option.

Looks like Alan bought everything they had...
DQ has access to the W&N inner sanctum, so if somebody can find them it is DQ.
