Drive Shaft shortening Sydney

Do any of the Sydney/NSW owners know of a place where I can get my drive shaft shortened to fit a 5 speed upgrade?

I've rung a number of shops and they seem to have a problem with BMWs.

If you've had it done, where and how much?
 
Driveshaft Shortening

I had mine done by Metropolitan Driveshafts at James Ruse Drive Granville. However that was about 15 years ago.

I had mine done last year in Sydney at Propeller Shaft Services at Bankstown phone number is 02 9771 2575 and i think they did a good job, but caution i am also trying to find out the cause of severe banging of D/S in transmission tunnel. This only happens in first under a bit of provocation but need to sort it out anyway. Fairly sure its not the shaft as there is no constant vibration when driving normally. It has been suggested that it may be engine mounts(new, replaced oem) twisting under hard load, this may well be the cause and as the gear box has to come back out for O/haul in the next couple of weeks i should be able to find out.
