My drivers side headlights are much brighter than passenger side. Ideas how to fix?

or at least the first place to look - there should be a brown ground wire right near each headlight cluster ... so its probably the ground on the passenger side. if that doesn't fix the issue, the second thing to look at are for any breaks in the wire or connectors

that being said, it has been discussed in other parts of the forum to run power to the lights directly to the lights from the battery rather than running thru the light switch.

Because it’s BOTH headlamps that are dim and the low beam filament is fed by the high beam circuit- you have to ask if the low beam ALONE is dim.

it is certainly not the bulbs and there is as Chris notes no low beam fuse.

Try the dip switch in low beam position- still dim?

As always THANK YOU. Took off passenger side grill around head lights and found the ground just dangling. After spending more time than I would like to admit trying to figure out were it came loose from I just ended up drilling a hole and screwing in the ground. Lights are equally bright now

I was waiting for resolution before taking this post in a slightly different direction. Anyone use a Hella universal H4 relay setup and if so, any improvement? We hear about bypassing the stalk and getting power from the alt/battery directly but does it add much?

I didn't use that relay kit but I did relay (and fuse) my low beams and it makes a huge difference. I suspect it will add life to your light switch as well.
