Driveshaft rebuilders?

I've searched for driveshaft rebuilders capable of cutting my 4-speed driveshaft to my specs for my 5-speed conversion. Per Don's suggestion I am going to go with the M5 guibo so it's not the the usual shortening referenced in Carl Nelson's seminal how-to manuscript.

I have only found driveshafts.com, are there other companies that you recommend that are quality and familiar with the e9 driveshaft that would replace the u-joints and cut to my specs?

i think there is a place here in atlanta that is good with BMW driveshafts. i have sent an email to a local e30 M3 friend. will let you know what comes back.

I've used them for years on some of my Chryslers and the latest was our Bavaria. Their work is excellent and pricing fair for what they do.

I have my shop do one every 2 weeks...
New u-joints, new center bearing fresh paint and balanced.
Trick is to ADD 10 mm to the front shaft to accommodate the SMALLER guibo than what comes as original.

So - cut 3.75 5 speed
Add .4 inches smaller guibo
Final cut is 3 3/8"

M5 guibo is part number 26112226527 36 bucks new
