Duxford, IWM, UK, Sunday 1st May

Anyone else going to Duxford to the Imperial War Museaum tomorrow? I know that there will be some nice BMWs on show and apparently free entry to the Museaum.
I will take my CSI and would be pleased to meet any of you. Parked with the BMW club.

Duxford

I had planned to go but couldn't get the old girl ready in time!
Testing and cleaning the injectors, tank cleaning and bit of rust repair.
May be next year.
Only one coupe there last year, mainly newer BM's.

Couple of snaps

It was a great day at Duxford, far more than cars and the sun was out too. A real Bat even turned up - Richard Baxters one.

This was not my engine, but is my CSI.
My car did not do so well in the mini concourse Pride of Ownership. Probably because I was at the coffee shop whilst others polished, but then my 40+ year old had 3 good journeys in the prior 4 days, not sure that this engine gets used much, but it does look great.
