E-Skin adhesive

I replaced the elephant skin in the trunk of the Great White after the repaint but now it is falling off. I used 3M spray adhesive. It may be as simple as using adhesive remover on the painted surface and repeating with 3M Spray adhesive but there may be a better product to use.

Any recommendations here.

nope, this is for the side that affixes to a metal panel.

You need to spray each surface, wait three or four minutes, spray again crosswise, let it get tacky and then apply. Cleaning might help, I would just respray.
