e28-535is motor / getrag 5sp Transm 4Sale VERY cheaply

FYI - the 535is was late in the e28 production run, and was fitted with the Getrag 260/6. As Don noted above, the 265/6 that most couple people are seeking was only found in the early e28s.

i will take pix today and put it here in next few hours….there is a squarish metal item saying Motronic…and two different items saying Bosch….very sincere sorry for my ignorance….last 30years or so have rescued & restored so many vintage bmws of 70s/80s BUT always found highly knowledgable people to do work for me….i regret not really learning HandsOn when i was teenager/college age but have indeed learned a lot from many during these past decades…Anyway sorry for this Tangent / tmi ? will share pix next few hours…..thnx Ohmess……thomas
 
The engine management computer will say Motronic on it, and also have a Bosch sticker.
 
depending on the year, it could be motronic 1.1 or 1.3 ... most likely to be 1.3. my previous USA b34 had the 1.1

Patience….i do NOT sit at home all day like perhaps others on this Site….(I'm out the door weekdays by 7am , home when people are in bed ) I'm crazy-busy ( 8 vintage bmws, spread over multiple NorthEast States, have multiple Homes I’m dealing / managing with, also helping Mom 30min away and GF in NJ, among still other rather important activity……i do have 2 other multiple bmw People who have expressed serious interest in e28 engine & 5spd Getrag Transm….as well as SalmonSilver rear body panels (both sides). I was also at vintage saratoga past weekend with my inka e3 there (sadly only 2 were there) and inka - kind of hard to miss so if you were there, could/should have contacted me….but will send pic of Motronic item in next hour (by 7pmEST)

just so crazybusy…8 vintage bmws (and 2 british from 60s) in multiple northeast States, managing 2 homes, helping mom 30min away in westchester and GF in jersey city….didn't even think i could escape to saratoga vintage but did at last moments and happy i did…but back to Life…….still selling e28 535is of 1987 engine / 5sp Getrag……and also z3–2.8 L engine too
 
Added note..ooops besides my inka e3-3.0si, there was a very nice Malaga burgundy Bavaria there too…didn't mean to discredit ANYONE….there were 140-150 vintage bmws this Saratoga Vintage event ! So many awesome models ! Happy there was NO judging….simply a great Social vintage bmw appreciation event !!
 
@Ohmess just yesterday shared pix and other pertinent info…the 059 ECU still available…was told by very knowledable e28 person on this Site thats its around $50 item….will sell for $ 40 plus shipping costs…if you @Ohmess still want it OR if not, anyone else who does…..enjoy today everyone !!
