I bought this car last year thinking to restore it or use for spares for my other 3.3. Now I've decide to part with the car: no time to spend in the restoration and to good to dismantle.
History: this car was sold new in 1976 and in 1978 was sold by the BMW dealer to an important industrial owner of my town. In the same year the car was armoured by a specialist at the considerable cost of 15.000.000 italian liras.
When he changed the car, He did not sell it but the car was stopped and recovered in a garage. It was retired from circulation in 1987, so it's about 20 years of sleeping now.
The original color is Fjord but, during the armouring works it was converted to BMW dark grey, should be anthrazitgrau metallic.
I was told the car was in excellent working order before being stopped, now obviously it needs some works before starting the engine again.
I've just washed it, paint needs polishing and some resprays. Interior is excellent, I still have to clean it.
79.500 kms from new, all documents and invoices.
Price is Euro 2300 as is (not running), in Bologna, north Italy.
