For sale is my Alpina chin spoiler. Fits with e3 and e9 models although historic photos I've found show it more often on the bav. Major difference between it and other alpina types is the thinner side profile and plow like geometry as opposed to the apron or skirt look. It's subtle, but obvious when pointed out. Purchased from coupe king a few years back. Nice cast, fit well. Already painted and holes drilled for fitment along leading edge. No damage. Just scuff and paint to suit.

Asking $150 plus shipping.

I love my Alpina spoiler. I got mine from Coupe King as well. I think they trim down the look of a Bav and Coupe. The other spoilers or air dams (to me) make the e9's and e'3's look heavier. I'm surprised you are selling it. I think it looks great on your car!

Thanks and agree. Only selling it because I replaced it with the later version. Had the early e9 / standard e3 version for a while but swapped it a few weeks ago. But yeah I think the alpina spoilers do a great job of accentuating the car's natural lines. Brings it to the ground nicely without making it look heavy.

If it doesn't work out with Gary I'd take it as well. Been thinking about one of these for a while. Out of curiosity, what is the difference between the early and later versions?

As far as i know, there are 3. The one that you see most often (mounted on my car in the pic), a ventless version that doesnt wrap as far around the sides (seen on grp2 cars as well), and a version with vents that was commonly seen on e3's and e9's, but is harder to come by anymore (the one i am selling -same as the one in the last pic) - has a more angled, plow like, slimmer profile at the connection to the fender.

There is a possible fourth that was for Group 2 wide body cars (or something wide body). All I know is it is way to wide for standard fenders. See 1st and 2nd stand alone air dam pics. They look similar until you try and fit it to car. I learned the hard way and painted one, then tried to fit and a big NO GO. They do look very similar to your new ones but when looking at them both, the ones I first painted still look way wider and come up higher at a different angle, I doubt they would fit your car. I will measure the length next time I am at shop. All I know is there was no way they were going to fit on the Bavaria. The ones I have on there now are like the one you have for sale and I must say they do fit great and accentuate the front fender lines perfectly, see last four pics. I prefer the front bumper on with these, just my humble opinion, but to each their own.
