E3 v. 2002 Wiper Arms

What are the differences between E3 and 2002 wiper arms? Do both also fit E9?
Are the ones in the picture 2002 or E3?

Those are BMW 2002 wiper arms, they have bayonet ends.
E9 & E3 have "shepherds crook" ends.
Both will work on E9s & E3s.

I was sold those as E9 wipers, from a member.
I just realized something was off.
They have 15" blades, but I thought 16" were the size for E9.
I love the learning curve, as much as I try to resist it.

Correct, 2002s have 15s & E9s have 16s.

E3 is also bayonet like 2002. An upstanding member, if sold here, would surely give you a refund.
