E3's for sale in Southern California

I'd be more interested in the '74-'76 BMW 2002 Sahara in the background.

Unfortunately (especially considering current vintage car market) this would be nothing more than a parts car, or or at best a racer. And there aren't too many Bavaria's out there on the track these days (if ever). The cost to restore would weigh out way any future ROI.

Here's a barn find in the upstate New York area. Automatic model, '71:

The ad seems a bit odd.. selling an E3, but it mentions E9s.
That's a very creatively-written ad! I like how it begins with:

***First photo is not actual car**, old pic of same model …This ’70s BMW is the so-called E9 coupe, the six-cylinder 2800CS, 3.0CS/CSi, and the CSL. A true B-pillarless two-door coupe, the flawlessly proportioned E9 is widely viewed as being the most beautiful car BMW ever built,

Leading with a photo of a different (much nicer) car is pretty deceptive. Then calling an E3 an E9 and saying it is pillarless, two-door, etc. is a bit much!

That ad is all over the place.

Here is another one in Richmond Hills, NY. Stated "original" down to the tires, but something doesn't look right on the inner right underhood pic. https://www.facebook.com/share/1G8Lew4MBR/

It does look like it may have a 4 barrel carb (Solex?). I wonder if any 2800s came stock with one?

Not a leather interior as stated, but overall it looks nice in the few pictures provided. 80,000KM if correct is a real plus.

That turquoise (Türkis) car was on offer at SportcarLA in June 2023. Looks a lot better now.
That was a Texas car I bought and brought to California back in 2020. I struggled to sell it for $3500.

What wheels are those on the first Bav? The SeinnaBraun one or whatever that is...

Wow, check out the list and pics of extra parts: Also includes 1973 BMW not running but includes engine and engine stand, cherry picker, 2 getrag 5 speed transmissions, 4 side loader final drives 1 is LSD, drive shaft, exhaust, spare bumpers, rear tail lights, 3 sets of carburetors, 2 spare windshields, 1 rear window, 3 or 4 toolkits, too many other parts to list. There are way more parts than in the images but this gives a taste.

I'll take that LSD, 5-spd, & drive shaft depending on price if anyone buys all this and some of the tools. Says 3 or 4 toolkits. This is a steal.
