i just recounted on my coupe, it is 49.
i also found the invoice from LaJolla with a part number. its the same part number as the T bolt (51135780108) followed by the letter T.
and the quantity issue stems from the Orange Book + RealOEM listing the quantity as 45

I thought maybe the 2000CS used 45 but no, RealOEM shows 41, go figure!
If there are 49 holes in the body, you need 49 "T" bolts, 49 rubber washers, and 49 of Carl's spacers. Correct??
I was not aware of those spacers when my car was painted. I have several places where the paint has pushed out of the trim.
