my name is marty. live in Atl. have previously owned multiple 2002’s, e23, several e12’s, and an e9. i am currently working on a modified e12 with my son; likely to be my last old bmw. finally clearing out basement. -marty
they came off a ‘73. woukd more pics help?

Those are early bumpers, much more desirable. 73 has a bracket with only one nut on the backside to attach to the hoop.
Hard to tell, 73 is a different part number so they might be a bit longer and they use a mounting piece that mounts the bumper with another nut to mount to the fender. That otherwise is the only difference. Someone with an early needs to chime in but it looks like a 73 at first glance.

I would think the bigger bracket is 73, my bumpers are at the chrome shop right now.
I'll take the clock if Thomas76 doesn't take it.
