E9 Coupe Regional Seattle Tour, Sep 27th

Ken Olsen had originally tried to organize for earlier this month but we got rained out. Today was a perfect make-up day. Phenomenal weather and just enough clouds up there to make the blue sky pop. Nine E9 owners met in Snohomish and we took at 75 mile 2.5 hr drive through the backroads of the region between Seattle and Bellingham, ending up in the beautiful coastal town of La Conner for a Taphouse lunch. No mechanicals which is always a bonus. We shared the road with numerous motorcyclists out for the weekend Oyster Run.

As I commented to someone the other day, I have become an empty nester with both kids in college only to have taken on the equivalent of a few 8-year-olds with these vintage cars. Always some task requiring time, expense, some frustration with the occasional win. Yep, sounds like kids soccer season to me!
