e9 coupes (and other BMW) at Deutsche Klassik

gorgeous day today in Norcross, GA for the annual Deutsche Klassik vintage show. there were only 2 coupes there today - @Ohmess (Chris Ohmess) and Tom Baruch who drove in this morning from Aiken, SC ... but there were many other coupe people driving their other cars - @dbower (Don drove his M5), @m5bb (Gary drove his e28 m5), @Patton (Robert drove his e24 M6) and @bdigel (Brendan drove his e12 528i). there were several nice 2002, some nice e21, e24, e28, e31 ... a few representative Alpina cars. Great to see everybody

will have to see how the photos came out and will try to post some - hopefully others will post.

hey i enjoyed seeing all of my (quasi local) coupe friends today - we missed you Dan. next year we are going to make it a big year and have 8 to 10 coupes there.

sorry i missed you Stephen, glad you got a pic of Tom's inka 2002tii. great to see it in the wild, i've only seen it in his garage. i liked the e28 alpina B7 and the ex-Steve Shackleford e30 alpina.

How did we miss each other! Yes, the Alpinas were so nice to drool over. Some very nice cars there. My brother also had his first showing with his 87 e28... I was really hoping to see an e3 or two...I needed the push to get mine finished for next year..lol. I'm hoping to paint it before christmas...

i did my walk around and stopped to talk to Brendan, then Gary, then Don and Robert ... then i sat and talked with Chris + Tom for at least 30 minutes ... so i was there for over 2 hours - 10:30 to at least 1:00 or so ...

there were some nice e24, e28 + e30 ... didn't look at too many newer cars, except Don's e39 and George's 850csi. next year, your e3 and my e9 will be there ... we will need to get a really big e9 crowd there ... maybe we can get some other cars from the Carolinas or Alabama. would love to see
